“There were too many of us, we had access to too much money, too much equipment and little by little we went insane.”
With an opening worthy of conceptual classification, a little band from Sweden, appropriately named Fucking Werewolf Asso, begins the most powerful and innovative punk album of the 2011. If you can imagine taking the synth aesthetic of Tubthumping and ramping it up to the screeching intensity of Crystal Castles you might be able to describe this untouchable band. But truly, the composition goes so much deeper than the typical thrash album, the breakdowns are powerful in contrast and everything fits tidily.
“I’m going to try not to come back. I’m going to try not to.”
