Endless Air; the Other Side of Happenings

Endless Air; the Other Side of Happenings by Underground River   (December 21, 2011) *

Who knew something so original and exclusive sounding could be influenced so greatly by the sounds of the past. Underground River’s highly anticipated album Endless Air; the Other Side of Happenings seems to greatly reflect the genre of 60’s psychedelia (“Golden Spinach”) along with the newly invented genre of mellow-cult by Underground River. As said in the From Home interview with Hunter Davidsohn, the most important thing when it comes to music is making that human connection between the artist and the listener. And what better way to do that than bring the listener back to the 60’s; a time that was all about the people.  This carefully crafted album comprises truly beautiful songs filled with gentle melodies and overlapping layers of samples and lo-fi sounds that could leave anyone with a nostalgic and memorable impression.
