Jungle Habits

Jungle Habits by Young Circles   (August 23, 2011) *

When you write an EP as good as Bones to start, you’ve set the bar high. Expecting nothing less, Young Circles slowly walks onto the metaphorical stage in their first full length Jungle Habits like Jeff Tweedy blankly looking into your eyes saying “don’t you see?”.  And although this groups no Wilco, it’s fair to say that the dynamics, the posture and the effort all land within the realm of brilliance.  Firstly a soulful album, YS uses the electronica feel, the electronica distortions and clippings to cast a long shadow.  A shadow that will be prove challenging, for the band, to top.
